Motion day practice:

Cases will normally be heard in the following order: (1) criminal (2) domestic and, (3) civil matters. All motions are to be noticed for hearing at the commencement of the motion day (8:30 a.m., 9 a.m. or 9:30 a.m.) unless another time is obtained from the administrative assistant.

Communication with the district judge:
Written communications with the district judge shall be directed to her in chambers at Washington. Written communications include copies of pleadings, briefs and memoranda, originals of proposed journal entries and orders and correspondence. (SCR 137)
